Rawhide Ranch Summer Camp sessions begin with check-in on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 – 4:00 pm, and check-out after the Closing Show the following Saturday morning.   All sessions are open for Boys and Girls, ages 7-15 (Must have reached 7th birthday prior to start of camp session).  Campers may register for one week session or multi-week sessions.

Note:  Check-in/Check-out times for Winter WonderCamp vary depending on holiday schedule.  Winter Camp Dates for 2013 have not yet been set.

Camp Fees

  • $930 per week includes:
    • All lessons
    • All meals
    • Lodging in one of our bunk areas (assignment based on gender/age)
      • Wagon Train

        Wagon Train (girls, ages 7-11 approx)

      • Fort Rawhide*

        Fort Rawhide (girls, ages 13-15, approx)

      • Teepee Village*

        Teepee Village (boys, all ages)

      • Olde Schoolhouse

        Girls, (ages 11-13, approx)

 

*Winter Camp session will have all girls staying at Fort Rawhide; all boys staying at Olde Schoolhouse.

Typical Summer/Winter Camp Day

“Gooooood Morning Ranchhands!”

7:25 - Meet at Flag Pole
7:30 - Breakfast
8:10 - Animal Care - Each Ranchhand will be assigned to a specific animal care area around the ranch.
8:45 - Class #1 - Our activities and electives are so fun AND educational, we call them Classes
9:40 - Coffee Break I
10:10 - Class #2
11:05 - Class #3

“Ranchhands – Are You Ready for Lunch?”

12:00 - Clean Up for Lunch
12:10 - Lunch is Served
12:50 - Pony Express Mail Delivery
1:00 - Rest Period - A great time to read and write letters to home
1:30 - Class #1
2:25 - Class #2
3:20 - Coffee Break II
3:50 - Class #3
4:45 - Animal Care - Love and care for horses, goats, cows and others who call the ranch home

5:15 - Clean Up for Supper
5:30 - Suppertime

6:30 - Free Time - phew, finally a break from all this fun.  Maybe I’ll take a shower?
7:00 - Evening Activity - What’s tonight? Campfire? Counselor skits? Ranchhand games?
