Posted on by michaelThe outdoor education curriculum at Rawhide Ranch creates an experiential learning opportunity that applies multiple grade level standards in each attended class. This unique approach to curriculum development gives students the chance to refresh, consider, and increase their knowledge within our programs correlation to the California State Education Content Standards for grades 2-8.
Our outdoor education classes are designed to encourage critical thinking skills while introducing concepts, vocabulary, and hands on learning. We incorporate core classes, electives, and activities that apply standards from across the grade levels within: Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences, Language Arts, History & Social Sciences, as well as Physical Education. Your students will have an opportunity to fine-tune communication skills and create positive solutions in a variety of scenarios throughout our program.
